Terms of use

1. The service

AutoShowroom connects car buyers with verified dealer stands across Nigeria through video listings, messaging, and inspection booking. We provide the platform; sales contracts are between buyers and dealers unless we state otherwise in writing.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Dealers must complete our verification process before listing. Before phone verification, you must accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, mislead buyers, or abuse other users.

3. Listings & content

Dealers are responsible for the accuracy of vehicles, pricing, and video walkarounds they publish. Buyers should inspect vehicles in person before purchase. We do not guarantee that every listing will result in a sale or that a vehicle is free of defects. Listings, messages, profiles, and other materials you submit are user-generated content and are subject to the community safety rules in Section 5.

4. Acceptable use

AutoShowroom has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not use the service to:

• Publish fake listings, stolen vehicles, or misleading media
• Submit or transmit content that is threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or otherwise abusive
• Harass, spam, or attempt to bypass platform fees or safety checks
• Scrape or automate access without our written permission

5. User-generated content and community safety

AutoShowroom has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Users must not submit or transmit content that is threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or otherwise abusive.

AutoShowroom may automatically filter or reject objectionable content before it is published or delivered. Users can report objectionable content and block abusive users using the controls provided in the app.

Blocking a user immediately removes that user’s conversations and content from the reporting user’s view and notifies AutoShowroom’s moderation team where appropriate.

We review reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. Where a violation is confirmed, we remove the offending content and suspend or permanently terminate the account responsible for it. We may also eject users who violate these Terms of Use even without a prior report when we detect abuse through moderation tools or other means.

6. Fees & subscriptions

Dealer plans, promotions, and billing terms are shown in the dealer console and may change with notice. Unpaid accounts may lose access to listing or lead features.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EmiCraft Tech Solutions Limited is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or disputes between buyers and dealers arising from vehicle condition, payment, or paperwork. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Abuja, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
